Lately I have gotten hooked on the show Burn Notice, and enjoyed the whole spy/intellegence theme and stuff. Bruce Campbell is great in the show. However I'm pretty sure many real intellegence people are complete failures. Like the guy who presented this theory:
Pentagon Researcher Unveils Warcraft Terror Plot
It basically calls out the potential that terrorists could all start playing world of warcraft, group up, and practice planning and executing terrorist attacks...in game - which could then somehow translate to the real world. I find it awesome he didn't base any of this on ACTUAL MILITARY SIMULATION themed games. What the hell? I don't see how any of this is productive. To me, its a power move for justification of government monitoring of chat and server activity of a private game company...(this hasn't happened yet, but if people actually believe this guy, homeland security will have backdoors into WoW servers in no time.) They've already thrown so much privacy out the window in the name of homeland security, i'm sure they're salivating at getting their hands on chat logs of a game 10+ million play worldwide.
